GPS Spoofing detection exploiting crowd-sourced information

Project Summary

This project aims to provide a cheap and effective solution to GPS spoofing. GPS spoofing enables a hacker to mimic a fake position by transmitting fake satellite signals to the user’s device. While being extremely easy and cheap to be deployed, this attack represents a huge challenge to be detected and mitigated. As far as we know and understand, there is no solution that can be easily and massively deployed to detect the attack. Our solution can be implemented in any smartphone and it represents a unique business opportunity for the civilian, industrial and military market.
