HBKU Innovation Center is the leading platform for entrepreneurial activities within the University. HBKU Members who are interested in establishing startups to commercialize their research outcomes must reach out to the Center to kick off the spin-out application process.

How to Apply & What to Expect?

Interested members should fill out the Spin-outs Application form and share it with the HBKU Innovation Center for internal review. Upon approval, HBKU will be signing an internal agreement with the applicant to spin out their technology.
Accordingly, the founder of the project will receive an HBKU waiver to launch the spin-out and will be introduced to ecosystem partners to start the incorporation process based on eligibility.
The founder (and/or co-founders) will have full independence and responsibility to manage their spin-out.
