The Centre offers a curated portfolio of innovation and entrepreneurship workshops designed to build practical capability across HBKU. The workshops listed on this page are delivered by the Centre and may also be offered to HBKU entities on an on-demand basis, subject to interest and scheduling, to support specific needs, teams, and initiatives. Many of these topics are also embedded within the Centre’s current programs, ensuring participants gain consistent, hands-on exposure to the tools and approaches used throughout the Centre’s innovation pipeline.

Intellectual Property 101

This workshop will cover necessary Intellectual Property fundamentals for entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurship 101

This workshop will provide theoretical and practical knowledge on the basics of entrepreneurship. Participants who complete this program successfully will be capable of converting their ideas into products, technologies, and services and will be able to commercialize them through their startups.

Project Writing

This workshop will provide theoretical and practical knowledge on how to write a project from start to finish.

Effective Presentation Techniques

This workshop will provide theoretical and practical knowledge on using PowerPoint effectively to design strong presentations, as well as the basics of content preparation, rules of design, and pitching. Participants who complete this program successfully will be able to pitch their ideas to public and corporate forums.

Systematic Innovation and Entrepreneurship

This workshop will provide theoretical and practical knowledge on achieving innovation from a start-to-finish approach and the basics of entrepreneurship. Participants completing this program successfully will be able to convert their ideas into innovative products, technologies, and services and be able to commercialize them through their startups.

Systematic Innovation and Leadership

This workshop will provide theoretical and practical knowledge on achieving innovation from a start-to-finish approach and the basics of leadership. Participants completing this program successfully will understand leadership in detail and be capable of leading idea conversions to innovative products, technologies, and services and commercializing them.
